Photo Essay - My Days in Different Countries

Introduction

Everyday is different from the day before. There has never been a time where two days are exactly alike. So every single day, we have new experiences. I have gathered some photos I've taken from different countries over this spring/summer. Lots of memories to rethink and laugh about later.

Hi this is my photo essay over the time from March 2013 till August 2013. SOme of my favorite places I traveled to was Beijing and Taiwan. I hope you'll enjoy my photo essay!!

A brass pot in Beijing

On April 27th, I left to Beijing with the rest of my 6th grade dyad (in our house, Peak) We went to some very important places and we went to see this brass pot in Beijing. I was so busy taking photos that I didn't really here what my teacher said about the brass pot, and it was SO LONG AGO that I don't remember! ^^ But I remember that it was very important and so me and my friend Jasmine were so busy taking photos we nearly lost our group! ^^

A fossil in TaiWan, near the place of the Queen shaped Rock

This was near the famous rock, the Queen Rock, which had been shaped by the wind and waters. There were fossils everywhere but my sister said that they were sand rocks or something. But we were amazed at all the fossils. They were so cool and seemed magical. There was a fossil of a dragonfly that looked just like a fairy too! Sweet!

In front of a very hot spring

In Taiwan we visited a very hot spring. It had steam rising and I felt as if I was melting there. It's a picture of me and my sister. We were burning there, right behind the giant, hot steaming lake of water. It smelled strongly of sulphur and we couldn't stand it. We had walked up, eating ice cream and every few minutes we smelled the ice cream smell then held our breath. It was really funny!!

Cool tent in Tawain
There was a cool tent in Taiwan and I forget what it was for but its design and everything was so cool, especially the one on the door. i was just leaning on the door while taking a photo when the door creaked open. Yeek!! There was a staff member, snoring inside the tent, while people were taking a photo of the tent outside! ^^
Very bad weather here in Korea, in KMLA dorm room
Just a few days ago, there was as terrible storm and the sky turned from grey to yellow to red to purple. This was the red stage of the storm. It was my first time seeing a storm this bad. Just when I was about to take a photo for this photo essay, a giant spider came down. Eeek!!! ^^

  1. Thanks Soobin for sharing your trip to Beijing and Taiwan on your blog. You have used good descriptions for your photos including an introduction when you went on your trip. It would be useful to include with whom you went and maybe how long. Great job. Keep up the good work.
